Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Tower Fever is a game available on supported mobile platforms. You do not need to create an account to play.

2. Personal Data and Advertising

You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to play Tower Fever. We do not directly collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data on our own servers. However, Tower Fever displays advertising through Google AdMob (see Section 4). Serving those ads means Google and its advertising partners can collect device identifiers such as your advertising ID, your IP address, and other technical data. Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, these identifiers can count as personal data even when the ads shown are not personalised. The optional leaderboards are provided by Apple Game Center and Google Play Games (see Section 5). We do not otherwise collect or share personal data beyond what is described in this policy.

3. Local Game Data

The game stores your best heights and scores, coins, run totals, unlocked tower styles and skyline buildings, daily contracts, your return streak and weekly progress, your language choice, and your sound, music, and vibration settings locally on your device. It also keeps a short on-device log of recent game events, such as runs finished and whether reward offers were accepted, which the game uses for its progress and ad pacing, and a list of leaderboard scores waiting to be sent if you were offline. This local data is not an account, is used only to provide game features, and is not sent to us.

4. Advertising

Tower Fever is supported by advertising, and ads cannot be turned off. It displays a banner advert provided by Google AdMob on the main menu (including its menu sheets) and on the results screen. This banner ad is not optional and appears automatically; it is not shown while you are building. After your first few runs, Tower Fever also shows an occasional full-screen interstitial advert provided by Google AdMob when you leave the results screen, which is not optional. It also offers optional rewarded adverts you can choose to watch for in-game bonuses such as a rescue, a coin boost before a run, doubling a run's coins, a contract reward or today's gift, or a few free coins each day.

To deliver and measure these ads, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address (which can indicate your approximate location), general device information, and app interaction data related to ad delivery, such as which ads were shown and whether they were tapped.

On Android, ads may be personalised: Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID and this data to choose ads based on your activity in other apps and websites. In the UK and EEA this happens only if you consent. On iPhone and iPad, Tower Fever requests non-personalised ads only and does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is not made available to AdMob and Tower Fever does not track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Where required by law, including in the UK and EEA, Tower Fever uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before ads are loaded. Your choices control whether ads may be personalised and how AdMob may use identifiers and data; they do not turn ads off, and the game works the same whichever you choose. Where this consent applies, you can review or change your choices at any time in the game's Settings under Ad privacy choices.

You can also manage advertising from your device: on Android under Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads on some devices), where you can opt out of ad personalisation and reset or delete your advertising ID, and on iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and Apple Advertising.

5. Leaderboards

Tower Fever offers optional weekly and all-time leaderboards (Unassisted Height, Overall Height, and High Score) through Apple Game Center on iOS and Google Play Games on Android. When the game starts, it connects to Game Center or Google Play Games if you are signed in there; on iOS, Apple may show its own sign-in prompt if you are not. If you are signed in, the game sends your scores to Apple or Google, and your player name and scores may be visible to other players on the leaderboards. If you are not signed in, nothing is sent and the game works the same way without the leaderboards.

Apple and Google handle this data under their own privacy policies, and we do not receive it on our own servers. You can sign out, or control who can see your profile and activity, in Game Center settings on iOS or in your Google Play Games profile settings on Android. 6. Links to Other Games

Tower Fever may show links to our other games. Tapping one opens its App Store or Google Play listing, and the link tells the store only that you came from Tower Fever.

7. Children

Tower Fever is not intended to collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this policy when Tower Fever changes. Before releasing any version that adds accounts, analytics, cloud sync, purchases, personalised ads on iOS, or new third-party services, we will update this policy and the relevant platform store disclosures.

9. UK and EU Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, you may have rights relating to your personal data, including rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. This includes data collected by Google AdMob as described in Section 4. You can manage ad-related choices through the game's Ad privacy choices and your device's advertising settings (see Section 4), and leaderboard sharing through your Game Center or Google Play Games settings (see Section 5).
